Developing Transformed Lives

All activities and programs at Village have components of Worship, Education and Community. However it is important to have a major point of focus or goal for each activity to ensure participants gain the full experience intended.

Individual Focus

Life Groups focus is on Community. Village University focus is on Education and Church Service focus is on Worship.

Unlike life groups or weekend worship services, the primary focus of Village University is education. This ensures there is time for study and understanding of God's Word and texts that support spiritual growth and transformation.

The Fabric of Village

The fabric of our lives is transformed through education, worship, and community. God weaves in us a unique pattern to glorify and serve Him. Village University is but one of the threads in the fabric that allows us to serve God.

Welcome Village University

Village University is committed to developing Christian thinking through education. The topics covered will range from study of the books of the Bible, to specific topics related to practicing your faith in today’s environment.

Classes Village University

Village University will offer multiple selections of six-week classes that run approximately one hour in length. We ask that you register in advance for the classes you select.

It is not our intent to prevent you form “dropping in” on a class if you wish. It is important to understand that a particular class may have material discussed in prior classes of which you may not be familiar.

Strong, solid, clear Christian thinking can be developed through education and practice. It is the mission of Village University to develop Christian thinking and to prepare our people to be strong evangelists for Christ.

Empowerment Village University

Learning is empowering and satisfying. There is health and life in committing to live as a humble, open, curious, life-long learner. There are also certain seasons in life where particular understandings or skills can bring healing, strength and growth in our relationship with God, with ourselves and with others. Jesus' teaching helped set people free and bring new life; hopefully, in that spirit, the classes offered will be a source of joy, strength and freedom.
